School Supply Programs
The Write Stuff offers both Ship-to-School and Ship-to-Home delivery options for school supply kit orders.
Ship-to-School
For schools offering a Ship-to-School program, shipping to the school is free for orders placed during the promotional period. School supply kits are delivered together to the school for distribution to families.
If a parent chooses Ship-to-Home instead of the free Ship-to-School option, standard shipping charges apply.
Ship-to-Home
Some schools offer a Ship-to-Home program, where school supply kits are shipped directly to families rather than delivered to the school.
For Ship-to-Home-only programs, shipping is free during the promotional period. Orders placed outside the promotional period may be subject to shipping charges.
Shipping Rates
When shipping charges apply to a school supply kit order, rates are based on the merchandise total:

$500.01–$1,000.00 = $125.00
$1,000.01 and over = $200.00
The same shipping rates apply to individual school supplies purchased through our online school supply store and shipped directly to the customer.
Processing & Tracking
Order processing times vary throughout the year. During our peak season, June through August, orders may take longer to be built and shipped.
We ship using FedEx, UPS, or USPS and select the most cost-effective carrier for each shipment. Tracking information (for ship-to-home orders) is sent to the email address used to place the order.
Cancellations
Orders cannot be cancelled once placed .
At checkout, customers are asked to acknowledge and agree to the following:
By accepting these terms, I understand and agree that:
• My school supply kit is a custom order and cannot be cancelled, regardless of extenuating circumstances.
• I am ordering supplies for the upcoming school year and have confirmed that no one else has ordered on my child’s behalf.
• I agree to the pricing, applicable shipping charges, products, brands, and quantities included in my order.
• If my child changes schools or we move after placing the order, I remain responsible for my order.
All Returns
Please contact The Write Stuff before returning an order to obtain a
Return Authorization number
. Returns received without a Return Authorization number will not be processed.
Any valid refund request made more than 90 days after the original purchase date will be issued as a merchandise credit.
Individual Customer Returns
Authorized returns must be received by The Write Stuff within 30 days of delivery.
The cost of the order will be refunded less:
• Original shipping charges
• A
$15.00 restocking fee
per kit
• If the order received free Ship-to-Home or Ship-to-School delivery, an additional $15.95 per kit will be deducted to cover the original shipping cost.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs to The Write Stuff.
School Returns
Applies to orders paid for by school check.
Returns must be received within 30 days of delivery , and all returned items must be in resalable condition.
A maximum of 10% of the original order may be returned. A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
The school is responsible for return shipping costs.
